walking radius neighborhood is part of the American
Institute of Architects Architectural Graphics
Standards which is an industry standard for dimensional
criteria for buildings and site planning.
In the early 1990's, the firm
of Duany Plater-Zyberk reproduced the Clarence
Perry diagram to demonstrate how the diagram is
still effective in planning today.
