Program:       

Creation of a transit-oriented development in downtown Lake Worth that enhances the existing Tri-Rail Station and integrates new passenger stations for the FEC corridor. The plan also provides redevelopment of the downtown area.

1.   increase transportation mobility for all modes of transportation
2.   FEC passenger train station at heart of downtown at Lake Avenue and secondary park-and-ride station at 10th Avenue North
3.   transit village around existing Tri-Rail station
4.   modify roundabout at Lucerne Avenue and North A Street to increase safety
5.   arts district along FEC south of Lake Avenue
6.   retail/redevelopment along North Dixie Highway
7.   Park of Commerce as economic engine for city
8.   stabilize residential neighborhoods
9.   new city hall and public plaza
